Software platform

2ndPay is designed to provide software tools for revenue allocation, earnings visibility, settlement request tracking, and employer review workflows. 2ndPay is not currently offered as a bank, payroll provider, money transmitter, tax advisor, accounting firm, investment advisor, or legal advisor.

Non-custodial design

2ndPay is designed as a non-custodial orchestration layer. 2ndPay does not custody employer or employee funds, does not automatically move money, and does not create automatic settlement transactions. Real settlement requires employer approval and, where applicable, action by an authorized wallet or account owner.

Employer responsibility

Employers remain responsible for payroll, tax, labor, wage-and-hour, benefit, reporting, recordkeeping, and settlement obligations. Employers are responsible for confirming that their use of 2ndPay fits their business, jurisdiction, workforce, and provider relationships.

Subject to review

2ndPay's pilot workflows are subject to legal, compliance, insurance, and operational review. Any commercial rollout, real-money settlement workflow, or regulated integration may require additional legal review, contracts, controls, licenses, provider approvals, or product changes.
