2ndPay is reviewing applicable rules and expectations around money transmission, earned wage access, payroll administration, wage-and-hour law, tax reporting, data privacy, digital assets, payment-provider terms, and settlement orchestration.

Pilot mode

Pilot mode is for workflow testing and validation. 2ndPay records allocation instructions, revenue events, earned wage calculations, and settlement requests. Pilot workflows are designed to avoid automatic money movement and avoid custody of funds.

Real-money workflows

Real-money settlement workflows will require appropriate legal, compliance, provider, and operational review before commercial rollout. Requirements may vary by jurisdiction, business model, payment method, customer type, and settlement provider.

Business obligations

Employers remain responsible for determining whether their payroll, tax, labor, payment, wallet, and settlement practices comply with applicable rules. 2ndPay does not replace a business's payroll provider, tax advisor, accountant, attorney, or compliance program.
